Brown Nose

This is how anal, OCD and pedantic I am. Forgetting to give Ollie a brown nose (brown nose, hee hee) really bugs me. Otherwise I quite like this one.

Still wish those drop panels weren't dropped online! Can anybody tell me why they are?

Comics Kingdom Down

There appear to be some problems with Comics Kingdom at the moment so until they are resolved I'll put your daily Ollie and Quentin comic here.

Shame because I quite like this one.

Eyesight

My eyes were fantastic until I hit 40. Quite suddenly it seemed I was squinting to read road signs and driving over pedestrians.

Stuck in the Fish Bowl Series

Here's that recent series about Ollie getting stuck in General Maximus' Fish Bowl. (Have I got that apostrophe in the right place?) I really like the color of the sea in that last one. Ahhhh...

Sunday strip in full

I gave one of my favorite newspaper clients this little mention not realizing that the powers that be at the paper had decided to boot Ollie & Quentin off its pages!
Sigh.

New Studio

Time I stopped working from home. There is no boundary between my work life and my real one and I don't like that 'fuzziness'. I need to be able to sit down and just concentrate on work for a few hours without having to worry about the millions of home chores that need doing. Equally I'd like to be able to sit down and relax at home in the evenings without being tempted to draw into the small hours.
I'm sure I will do many more strips from my house and will still write my comic in the Guildford Coffee Shops but in an attempt to separate my work life from my home one a bit I have found a new studio that I share with lots of other 'creative' types and it's pretty mad, inspiring and fabulous! It's a converted chapel 20 minutes drive from my house with a boardroom where the altar used to be and the old organ pipes forming part of the office partitions. Bonkers! Today was my first day and everyone seems friendly and the atmosphere calm and relaxed. Really looking forward to changing the way I work and live.
