Sat Navs
The first time I ever used a sat nav I drove straight up a one way system the wrong way. The next time I took 5 hours to drive a 3 hour journey. The last time I used one it flew off the windscreen as I turned a corner and smashed into the passenger door, destroying the screen.
I use a map now. It's safer.

Sunday Strip in full
This is the very last Ollie and Quentin hand inked comic strip. From now on you will only see comics finished in the way I described in my previous post using the Live Trace feature in Adobe Illustrator.

Spot the Difference
Looking at today's comic something jarred and it took me a while to see what it was. Here, in the UK, we can get away with saying "Depends what it is" but someone has added the word "on". The keen eyed amongst you will notice they've used Quentin's type font in Ollie's speech bubble. First time that's ever happened.
Mine is the second version.
This is very anal of me, isn't it?

Who was I writing about?
My cousin Tim is a VP at Sony and always gives me a music cd compilation whenever I see him. The last one had a track from 'The National' on it who are now my band of the moment. The track I was referring to was 'Bloodbuzz Ohio'. The lead singer has the most amazing deep voice. Another great track is the beautiful 'Start a War'. Someone's put the music to clips from the movie 'The Notebook' which is quite nice, especially as that first video is so... well... you decide. Another good'un worth a listen is 'Fake Empire'. See what you think. Oh, and that's my daughter's ipod nano.

My first 'dreamt' strip
This is my first ever 'dreamt' comic. Ok, it's a bit bizarre but this did made me laugh in my sleep. When I woke up I quickly made a note of it. I think it would work well animated with all the countdown and launch sound effects included.
It would be great if I could wake up every morning with that day's joke already written in a notebook by my bed. The gag fairy's been again!
