These two great Between Friends comics from Sandra Bell Lundy perfectly demonstrate why I can't write my strip at home. The lure of email, blogs, tweets etc is too great. As for sleeping, I drop off moments after opening my sketchbook. In fact, I'd be gone before panel two above. No, it has to be a busy coffee shop with some strong coffee and maybe even a screaming kid in my ear.

You can tell this is written from the heart! I sometimes write at home, but not very effectively.
