In the new year Ollie and Quentin go looking for monsters in their basement. I've really enjoyed coloring these strips because of all the shadows and highlights I can play around with. Here are a few panels to show you what I mean. The three panels here are taken from 3 different strips but, by chance, seem to tell a story in themselves.

Have you seen the film "Mousehunt" with Nathan Lane and Lee Evans? This reminds me so much of the jack-in-the-box scene.
Haven't had an opportunity to post about your comic strip yet, but I will soon.

I'm a big fan of Lee Evans and have seen Mousehunt but I don't remember the Jack in the Box scene. Must watch it again.
It's one of my favourite comic films (and my taste is eclectic - my top film is "Withnail & I").
