Small World

This is one of my favorite strips to date. Not only do I like the joke but I loved doing the artwork (who doesn't like drawing rockets?... I sound like I'm about 6 years old). The coloring was great fun as I really enjoying creating these night scenes. It's comics like these that remind me I have one of the best jobs in the world!

Huh. You don't black the sky... in my dailies, I always black the sky for the night scenes (I don't for the Sundays unless I'm in a hurry, like lately!).

Blacks are important in a comic about penguins I would imagine. I prefer my colours weaker and more 'pastilly' (is that a word?)

As for hurrying, I was ordered to do two weeks in one last week, or else! Gulp.
